MTR emerged as a serendipitous alliance between bassist Ron Palos, drummer Tim Soriano, and guitarist Michael Valerio in the summer of 2020.

Initially conceived as a summer jam project to support Michael Valerio’s song repertoire, the project quickly evolved past a solo band act to encompass the songwriting voices of all 3 musicians.

As the pandemic imposed a hiatus on their respective projects (Ron with “Peace Theory” and Tim with “Love Sunday” and “24th Street”) it granted MTR an opportunity to craft a sound that transcended their individual trajectories.

The result became a fusion of seasoned artistry and newfound inspiration; an auditory journey that echoes the resilience of a band forged in unconventional times. Join Us.
